I agree that SMS is bad for standard English because as we may even fail for our composition examinations if we use SMS language.Imagine, if a student writes SMS language in his/her compositions do you think that the student would pass his composition examination??? I don't think so.Don't you agree with me?
I think that SMS is bad for standard English as it would become a bad habit.It will be very difficult to stop the habit.For example, I have to type a document for my boss and I start to type it in SMS language.Well I think you know the answer very well. I would be dead meat.So type your SMSes in standard English!!!
